Hadleigh Court is a superior residence for the elderly and retired, pleasantly situated between Cary Park and Tessier Gardens and offering easy access to churches, shops and bus routes.
Hadleigh Court has a core of 23 staff, whose intention is to provide a friendly, happy and comfortable service for the residents in our care.
Our home welcomes ladies and gentlemen, over the age of 65, who need some help with daily tasks or who want a safe home environment with no worries or stress and 24 hour care at hand if required.
Hadleigh Court is registered with Care Quality Commission
Accommodation is available for long term Residential Care, Domiciliary Care, Elderly Care, Day Care and Short Stay Breaks.
We have 27 bedrooms at Hadleigh Court, double and single. All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard; all have en-suite facilities, a call bell system and television.
Residents are welcome to bring small items of furniture with them and personalise their room with their own ornaments, photographs and pictures.
We have spacious lounges which overlook the well-stocked sunny gardens and offer a choice of sitting area with an atmosphere of home comfort in which to sit and enjoy the company of others, join in with the optional organised activities, watch television or listen to the radio in company.
We have a lift which takes you up to the first floor.
We aim to provide a varied menu of good home cooking, using fresh produce wherever possible, and always giving a choice to cater for individual tastes. We will always do our best to provide special diets and will welcome any suggestions and helpful comments regarding our menu.
Breakfast is generally served in each room at a time that suits the resident. Other meals are normally taken in the dining room but can be served in the resident’s room if required.
We have a program of entertainment within the home that residents can choose to enjoy which include quizzes, games, music, bingo and gentle exercise sessions being very popular.
Some residents are able to maintain their local community links by continuing membership if various groups, clubs and organisations. The residents can also visit the churches and library.
All residents have the opportunity to go out and about in our own minibus with regular trips around the local areas including the coastline, countryside and places of interest. We have fitted a wheelchair ramp to accommodate residents who would normally have difficulty in joining these outings.
We have a hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and dentist who visit the home. The residents can take advantage of any of these services if they wish.
